Senior Python/Django Full-stack Software Engineer
Hybrid, 3 days per week at our Harpenden office
This key role will place you at the forefront of developing Breww’s product, building features that make a huge difference to hundreds of craft breweries worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Full-stack Software Engineer with experience in Python and Django to join our rapidly growing team.
An interest in craft beer and trying new beers will make this role even more rewarding, as you'll get to work alongside some of the very best craft breweries in the world.
Responsibilities
- Developing new features for our brewery management software.
- Writing efficient, testable, readable & scalable code.
- Helping to diagnose and fix customer issues.
- Improving our test suites.
- Refactoring some existing code to be clearer or more performant.
- Reviewing pull requests submitted by colleagues and providing detailed, actionable feedback.
- Keeping up to date with modern development methods and best practices.
- Assisting more junior members of the team with their development.
About you
Required
- You have at least five years of experience in Python development.
- You have experience with the Django framework or similar.
- You proactively find ways to improve the code and team processes.
- You have a strong knowledge and understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- You have experience with SQL, ideally MariaDB/MySQL.
- You take pride in what you build.
- You write well-structured, efficient & scalable code.
- You can understand the problem you're solving for the customer to help plan the best possible solution for them.
- You have the willingness and maturity to share knowledge and help develop other team members.
- You’re a strong communicator capable of justifying decisions, proposing new ideas and challenging the status quo.
Desirable
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Nginx, Git, Bootstrap, Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with unit tests.
- Confidence communicating directly with customers (we don't anticipate much of this, but it will happen occasionally).
- Experience working in a fast-paced (or startup-like) environment.

Breww is based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire and has a flexible/hybrid working environment with the ability to work two days a week from home.
Working hours 9am - 5pm.

Lead Generation & Outreach Specialist
Hybrid, 3 days per week at our Harpenden office.
This highly visible role will place you at the forefront of Breww’s sales presence, proactively targeting and engaging with potential customers to highlight Breww as the solution to enhance their business. We are looking for someone tenacious and professional with the drive and ambition to strengthen Breww's outreach and maximise customer conversion.
An interest in craft beer and trying new beers will make this role even more rewarding, as you'll get to work alongside some of the very best craft breweries in the world.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting, qualifying and following up on leads; building our pipeline and appointment setting for demonstration and sales team.
- Deliver a variety of tailored and engaging outbound communication.
- Identify growth opportunities, new customers and approaches to increase awareness and generate new customer leads.
- Collaboratively work with the sales and marketing team to develop lead generation strategies to progress lead opportunities.
- Demonstrate commitment to the brewing industry, staying up to date with new regulations, our product solution changes, innovations and market trends.
- Provide consistent and accurate monthly sales lead generation activity reports to management.
- Initiate lead and demand generation strategies to support and influence our outbound sales and marketing initiatives.
- Actively be part of the Breww Community and Social Media platforms, engage and build brand recognition.
- Manage the customer outreach program, share best practices and relevant content.
- Constantly analyse and improve the lead generation processes, and maintain and grow the automated outbound communication flow.
- Expand our CRM database, building out accurate and researched company and contact information.
About you
- Must have experience working in the brewing industry, either at a brewery or in a related business such as a supplier to the industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills engaging with industry professionals over the phone, via video call and email.
- Resourceful and entrepreneurial.

Customer Success Executive

Responsibilities
- Support the customer through their journey, from sign-up through to setup, data migration, training and ongoing technical support.
- First-line technical support via the phone and our internal ticket-based system, resolving customer issues where possible and escalating to relevant teams when required.
- You will have responsibility for customer engagement and satisfaction, proactively seeking ways to increase each customer's overall usage and engagement with Breww. This will involve analysing their use of Breww to identify areas and features that are being underutilised, and which would increase their efficiency, enhance their business and improve their experience.
- Devising innovative solutions to difficult or complicated customer issues and queries.
- From your frontline interactions with customers, you'll develop expert knowledge of customer feedback on the product, which you will use to collaborate with the Product team to improve Breww and launch new features.
- Provide video-call-based training.
- Host training webinars.
- Help build and maintain Breww's help centre articles by producing and reviewing how-to guides for commonly asked questions and issues.
- Be an active part of the Breww Community and social media platforms, contributing advice, answering queries, offering suggestions & tips, and regularly updating customers with new features & benefits.
About you
