Ingredient stock traceability
Breww is built with brewers in mind, with everything you need to run your brewhouse efficiently. Raw materials can be booked into your inventory directly from supplier-linked purchase orders with all pertinent information such as batch codes, costings and expiry dates. Breww's inventory functionality allows for automatic stock rotation, ensuring you'll never forget or waste raw materials and should you ever need to perform a recall, you have full visibility on where both raw material and packaged product batches have been used and which customers they have distributed to.
Batch schedule & vessel planning
With Breww's production module, you can manage all aspects of your brewery. When planning your batches, you can ensure there are no vessel clashes with our drag-and-drop-enabled batch schedule calendar functionality, check you have enough stock for your planned activities with our pre-brew stock check and schedule planned packaging events. Our beer & recipe management tools allow you to specify what you produce and how you produce it, with recipe steps, ingredient additions and brew-day instructions.
Management of in-progress batches is also expertly handled with Breww. Open batches are handled via an interactive brew sheet (or printable PDF), allowing for readings to be taken, recorded and even used in your own specified calculations. You can also be sure you're using your raw material stock in rotation with Breww's ingredient auto-assignment feature. During fermentation, readings from a wide range of metrics can be logged and stored against your batches, with historical comparisons available against previous batches to ensure you're staying consistent, and crucially realise early if something is out of kilter. When it then comes to racking your beer, Breww's mobile app (for iOS & Android) is there to make the process as swift and accurate as possible with container scanning, packaging item consumption and label generation all accounted for.
Cleaning & maintenance records
We also understand the importance of staying on top of brewhouse maintenance, this is why we have a full cleaning & maintenance suite to ensure your equipment is kept in working order. Cleaning processes & their associated inventory items (such as chemicals) can be specified and set to repeat on a recurring basis, with the ability to lock off vessels if a cleaning record is overdue. These records are then stored indefinitely for your own use or inspection by accrediting bodies.
