Stock levels for stock items can be updated in bulk via a stock take, but it's also possible to make adjustments directly on individual stock lines within a stock item.
If you need to adjust the quantity in stock—or remove a specific line of stock entirely—you can do so by following these steps:
- Navigate to the Stock item Head to Stock items, then select the specific stock item you want to update.
- Go to the Stock tab Scroll down to the Stock tab near the bottom of the page. This section displays all stock lines associated with the item.
- Select the correct stock line If the item is batch-tracked, expiry-tracked, or held at different prices, you'll see multiple stock lines. Use the edit pencil icon on the relevant line you wish to adjust.
- Adjust the stock
-
The Current quantity in stock field will display the current stock; you will be able to update the quantity here. To remove the stock entirely, set this to 0.
-
You can also update the Price per unit if needed.
-
Enter a Reason for the change to keep a clear audit trail.
This will allow you to adjust your stock item inventory for a specific stock item in Breww.
