Adjusting stock item stock

Stock levels for stock items can be updated in bulk via a stock take, but it's also possible to make adjustments directly on individual stock lines within a stock item.

If you need to adjust the quantity in stock—or remove a specific line of stock entirely—you can do so by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Stock item Head to Stock items, then select the specific stock item you want to update.
2. Go to the Stock tab Scroll down to the Stock tab near the bottom of the page. This section displays all stock lines associated with the item.
3. Select the correct stock line If the item is batch-tracked, expiry-tracked, or held at different prices, you'll see multiple stock lines. Use the edit pencil icon on the relevant line you wish to adjust.
4. Adjust the stock

   • The Current quantity in stock field will display the current stock; you will be able to update the quantity here. To remove the stock entirely, set this to 0.

   • You can also update the Price per unit if needed.

   • Enter a Reason for the change to keep a clear audit trail.

     This will allow you to adjust your stock item inventory for a specific stock item in Breww.
