Drink and product tags

In Breww, you can create Drink and product tags. These tags can either be applied directly to a beer, which also automatically applies them to all the products containing this beer, or directly to specific products. Tags are used all across Breww, including to:

• Filter reports to a subset of products or beers
• Creating custom categories on the Trade store
• Viewing a specific set of products
• Applying discount rules to a specific group of products
• Creating best-before rules for a set of drinks, e.g. Dark beers

Creating tags

You can create a drink and product tag by heading to Products -> Tools & reports -> Tags. Here, you will find the Add tag button.

While creating a tag, you can select whether it should be shown as a category on the Trade store and displayed to customers in applicable customer-facing documents like price lists.

Applying tags

To apply a tag to a beer or product, you must first go to the relevant beer or product page in Breww, select Edit, find the tags field, and select any that apply.
