In Breww, you can compare a batch's readings against your most recently completed batches that use the same recipe. This includes data entered on the batch fermentation analysis tab, as well as the results from input variables set within a recipe, such as 'Mash temperature'.
There are two ways to compare batch readings:

From an individual batch — open a single batch and compare it against recent batches of the same recipe.

From a batch comparison dashboard — build a saved, at-a-glance dashboard that compares readings across batches. See Batch comparison dashboards for how to set these up.
Comparing a batch to recent batches
To compare a batch with recent batches, head to Production -> View -> All batches, and select the batch. Then head to the analysis tab and select the Compare with recent batches button.
Comparing batch analysis data
Here, you can select the batch data you would like to compare, which will be displayed on a graph. You will be able to compare temperature, gravity, pH and attenuation data. In the example below, the gravity readings between batches of the beer 'Floral Haze IPA' are being compared.
You can view this same data in a table by scrolling further down the page.
The benchmark batch
For each beer, you can set a benchmark batch — the reference batch you consider a great example of how the beer should turn out. When a benchmark is set, it always appears on these comparison charts as its own highlighted reference line, so you can compare every other batch against your ideal rather than just against recent batches. Comparing your input variable data
You will also be able to compare the data entered against input variables set on the recipe. For example, the graph below is from a beer with a 'Mash temperature' input variable on the recipe, where the data has been entered into the brew sheet.
ABV reporting
There is also an ABV report that can be viewed, which will compare your batches to help determine your average measured ABV for the beer, as well as highlight the highest and lowest ABVs for the beer. You can view this by selecting the View ABV report button at the top right of the page.
