Trade store emails

Every email your trade store sends can be reworded in your own voice, per store. Go to Settings & toolsEmails.

Each email is a collapsible section holding a subject and a body. Leave a subject blank to use our default. The body is written as rich content, so you can add formatting and links.

The emails you can change

Email When it's sent
Invitation email You invite a customer to your store
Colleague invitation email One of your store users invites a colleague
Access granted email You approve somebody's application
New customer form email You email your form to a prospective customer
Order confirmation email A customer places an order

Using variables

Each email lists the variables you can drop into it, with an example of what each produces. They cover things like your business name, your logo, the customer's business name and the name of the person you're writing to.

Two are compulsory, and Breww won't let you save without them:

  • The invitation link must appear in the invitation, colleague invitation and reminder emails, otherwise the customer has no link to accept with.
  • The new customer form link must appear in the new customer form email, otherwise the business has no link to your form.

The order confirmation email has its own set, covering the invoice number and totals, the tax name for your region, the list of items, customer-facing invoice notes, and the billing and delivery addresses. Where a customer chose to collect, the delivery address variable shows the collection date and your collection site's address instead.

Copying somebody in on orders

Emails to BCC into order confirmation emails blind-copies one or more of your own addresses on every order confirmation, which is useful if you want the sales team to see orders as they land.

Mentioning your store in your other emails

Mention the trade store in invoice and delivery emails adds a short line and a link to your store at the foot of the invoice and delivery emails you already send. A preview on the settings page shows exactly what your customers will see.

It's a low-effort way to remind customers the store exists, since these are emails they already open.

Invitation reminders

Reminder emails are set up separately, so you can have several at different intervals. See Inviting customers and managing access.

These guides are written for the breweries who run Breww, so parts of them will describe screens you do not have. Send us the details and we will point you the right way.

Please use the routes above rather than replying to a sales email, support does not reach us that way.
