Deliveries & distribution
👋 This article is part of our Getting Started guides. If you are new to Breww and have found this guide without first reading our 🧰 Getting Started Guide, you will want to head there first. Not new to Breww? 🚀 This guide might not be quite right for you as it is aimed at your initial setup.
Before you start processing orders in Breww, you will want to have a look at the Deliveries section. Here, you can create your delivery vehicles and areas, and we suggest setting these up before trying to process any orders.
Setting up a delivery vehicle
You can create a delivery vehicle by heading to Deliveries->Settings & config->Vehicles->Add vehicle.
Setting up a delivery area
You can schedule your deliveries based on the day of the week that you would typically be delivering to a specific area. To create a delivery area, head to Deliveries->Settings & config->Delivery areas->Create new area. You will then be able to define your delivery area by UK postcodes, Australian postcodes or US ZIP codes, or plot this out on a map, as well as select the vehicle that this area applies to. Once this area has been saved, you will be able to apply rules as to when this area is delivered to. For full details of each area type, see Setting up delivery areas.
Setting delivery rules
In Breww, you can also set up delivery rules to help determine how your deliveries are automatically scheduled. Whilst delivery rules are optional, this is a powerful tool that will enhance your delivery fulfilment in Breww. For more information on delivery rules, please see: Delivery rules.
