FAQs
What does the Trade Store cost?
Nothing. The Trade Store is included with your Breww subscription, with no monthly fee, no commission on sales and no limit on the orders you take through it. This replaces the previous 1% charge, which has been removed from every subscription. See Trade store pricing and fair use.
Can I run more than one Trade Store?
Yes. Run as many as you like, each with its own web address, branding, products, ordering rules, invitations, baskets and orders. It's worth doing if you sell under separate brands, or want to treat different sets of customers differently. See Creating and setting up a trade store.
Can I have a new customer form without a shop?
Yes. Choose Just new customer forms on the first step of the setup wizard and you get a real store serving your new customer form, with nothing for anyone to browse. You can turn it into a full shop later without losing anything.
How do I look at my own store the way a customer sees it?
Open your store and choose Browse as an existing customer, then pick one of your own customers. You'll see exactly what they see. Previews done this way are left out of your adoption figures, so trying your own store never looks like a customer signing up.
Can I create my own custom Trade Store categories?
Yes, you can! Custom categories are created from Drinks and product tags. Our guide on Drink and product tags will show where these can be created. Once created, they'll be displayed on your Trade Store.
Each store's Categories settings page then lets you drag them into the order you want, and give each one its own page title, description, hero image and content above and below the products. One can be featured as a full-width banner across the top of your categories page. All of that is held per store, so the same tag can look different in each of your stores. See Customising how your trade store looks.
Allowing a user to purchase on behalf of multiple locations
You can grant users the ability to place orders in the Trade Store on behalf of multiple customers in Breww. This is particularly useful when purchasing for different locations or businesses under a parent company.
- Create a customer in Breww for each location.
- For each customer, go to the Trade Store tab on their customer page.
- Send an invitation to the user's email address to grant them Trade Store access.
Once this is set up for each customer, the user can log into the Trade Store. At the bottom of the page, they will see the message:
"You're ordering from [Your Business Name] on behalf of [Customer Name] (change)."
This allows them to seamlessly switch between customers when placing orders.
