Settings
Breww offers lots of settings which you can use to customise Breww to work the way that you want. Most of them are self-explanatory, but we'll cover some of the more complex options here.
Integrations
Breww integrates with lots of other well-known software platforms. For an overview of these and how they work, please see our integrations page. View our dedicated Accountancy software integrations for everything you need to know about our Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage integrations.
Customer tags
You can define your own "tags" in Breww, which can then be assigned to customers or contacts. Tags are really flexible as you can make them work in so many ways and use them to filter lists and reports using Introduction to BrewwQL. There are some built-in tags (such as Receives invoice emails) that change the way the system treats the customers/contacts that have the tag (in this case, the tag causes the email addresses associated to be included by default when you send an invoice to a customer via email).
Sites & locations
Breww is capable of handling breweries that operate over multiple sites or deliver beer to customers who have their own bonded warehouses. Breww understands how all of this works and correctly calculates the associated beer duty for you. All Breww accounts have a default site of Brewery and a default location of Main. Locations exist within sites and allow you to track stock and containers around different "locations" within your sites (brewery/warehouses), so if you have a big brewery or warehouse, you don't just know that you have what you need - you know where to find it. This is also really useful for stock rotation. You can also choose which sites can fulfil orders and which store stock for other purposes.
Users and user groups
All Breww accounts have unlimited users included in the price. Invite your colleagues and other people that you work closely with (such as accountants) to Breww. You can use our fine-grain access controls to manage who can use which sections of Breww. Users can be assigned to groups to make managing permissions easier, but you can also assign extra permissions directly to users if you need to. User groups are useful in a number of other areas of Breww and are a great way to manage people - for example, you can create tasks and either assign them to an individual user or assign them to an entire group.
User invitations
If you invite other users to Breww, simply enter their email address and we'll send them an email letting them know. If they're new to Breww, we'll suggest they open an account to join you. If they already have a Breww account, we'll let them join your brewery (with the permission levels you granted them). Users can be part of multiple breweries at the same time - see below.
Accessing multiple Breww breweries
If you're already part of a (non-demo) Breww account and you're invited to join another brewery, you can join that brewery without losing access to your original account. There's no limit on how many accounts you can have access to at once. This is particularly useful for cuckoo/gipsy/contract breweries and advisers/contractors. Simply click on your profile picture (or initials if you don't have one) in the top-right of the screen and change your brewery in your profile.
