Stripe and Breww

Stripe payments that stay with the order.

Let trade customers pay at checkout or from their invoice, then keep the payment attached to the right customer and order in Breww. Your team can also charge a saved card when the customer asks and handle a refund without rebuilding the transaction elsewhere.

Included in your plan, with no per-integration fee.

Five things you can do with Stripe

What the connection handles day to day.

Take payment at Trade Store checkout

Customers can pay by card while placing an online trade order, so paid orders arrive in Breww ready for the next step.

Put a payment link on the invoice

Give a customer a direct route to pay an outstanding invoice instead of asking them to copy bank details or call the office.

Charge a saved card when asked

An authorised team member can select a saved customer card and charge it against the relevant invoice when the customer has agreed.

Keep the payment with the order

The Stripe payment stays connected to the Breww customer, order and invoice that created it, making reconciliation easier.

Refund without starting again

Issue the refund from the Breww payment workflow and keep the order history together.

What happens automatically, and what your team controls

Stripe handles the card transaction and Breww keeps it with the customer, order and invoice. Your team stays in control of anything that takes money from a saved card or sends money back.

Stripe integration guide
Control 1

Customer payments attach automatically

Once Stripe confirms a Trade Store or invoice-link payment, Breww keeps it with the order and invoice that prompted it.

Control 2

Saved-card charges are deliberate

Your team chooses the saved card and invoice to charge after the customer has authorised it.

Control 3

Refunds are deliberate

A user starts the refund from the payment attached to the Breww order, keeping the decision visible.

Control 4

Finalising an invoice does not charge

Stripe does not automatically charge a saved card when an invoice is finalised. That workflow belongs to the separate Fintech integration.

Connecting Stripe

Connect Stripe, choose where to offer card payment, then run a small test.
01

Connect your Stripe account

Authorise Stripe from Breww's integration settings.

02

Choose the payment journeys

Offer card payment in your Trade Store, on invoices, or both, depending on how your customers buy.

03

Test a payment and refund

Follow a small test transaction into Breww and back through a refund before opening it to customers.
