Adding in-vessel batches

Importing your beer batches in vessel
You will be able to reflect the volumes of the batches that you are currently holding in your vessels by using the Beer batches in vessel importer. Importing your current batches will populate the vessels in your production suite without the need to put these batches through a ‘Production run’ to reflect that these were produced before you started using Breww. To import the batches that are currently in your vessels, head to Settings → Data imports and updates → Beer batches in vessel, and follow the Data import guide.
It is worth noting that one of the fields included here is Cost. You should enter the total cost to produce the batch so far here, e.g. the total ingredients and utilities cost. Cost is included as a field here, as the assumption is that your ingredients for these batches have already been consumed. This means you can still account for the cost of these against the batch. If you haven't consumed these ingredients yet, you could choose to ignore the cost field and add the ingredients to the batch after this import. Moving forward, when producing batches, the cost will be auto-calculated based on the ingredient usage on a recipe and the utilities cost that you have set.
