Integrations

Integrations enable Breww to work seamlessly with the rest of your business's tech stack, including your accounting software, e-commerce platform, fermentation monitoring solutions, shipping services, and payment partners. Please use the related document links below.

Finding and managing your integrations

Go to Settings -> Integrations to manage everything Breww connects to. Integrations are grouped into categories, such as accountancy, ecommerce and POS, payments and fermentation monitoring, so start by choosing the category you're interested in.

You'll need either the Admin permission or the Manage integrations permission to open this area.

Setting up a new integration

Each category page has a Set up a new integration section listing every platform Breww supports in that category. Badges tell you what to expect before you start:

• Free - included with your Breww plan. The other platform may charge its own fees, but Breww never charges you for the integration itself.
• Addon - a paid Breww addon. Hover over the badge for how it's priced.
• Higher price plan required - not available on your current plan. Hover over the badge to see the plan volume you'd need.
• Desktop-based - the platform runs on your own computer rather than in the cloud.
• Coming soon or Closed beta test - not generally available yet. If a closed beta interests you, open a support ticket to ask about joining.
• Not available on test accounts - some integrations can only be used on a full account.

Click Set up [platform] integration to begin. What happens next depends on the platform, but most will send you over to that platform to log in and grant Breww access, then bring you back to Breww to finish configuring it.

Warning: If you're on a Breww test account, only ever connect it to a test or sandbox account on the other platform. Connecting a test account to your real systems can start syncing real data into fake data, which you almost certainly don't want.

Your existing integrations

Once an integration exists, it appears in the Existing integrations table at the top of the category page, showing:

• Integration name, along with a Disabled badge and the reason if it has been switched off.
• Setup - when it was created, and by whom.
• Access valid - Breww checks with the other platform as the page loads and tells you whether the connection is still working. Disabled integrations aren't checked.
• Sync messages - anything that needs your attention, with a button through to the details. This column also prompts you when setup isn't finished, such as a sales platform needing product mappings before orders can be imported, or a marketing platform needing to know which customers to sync.

The actions menu

Each integration has an Actions menu. What's in it depends on the platform, but commonly includes:

• Configuration - the settings for that specific integration.
• Re-authorise access - re-grants Breww access to the other platform. You shouldn't normally need this, but it's the fix if access has been revoked or lost.
• Disable integration - stops all further syncing of stock levels, orders and anything else you have configured. Nothing is deleted, and you can enable it again whenever you like.
• Enable integration - restarts syncing.
• Delete integration - removes the connection from Breww entirely. An integration has to be disabled before it can be deleted, and some integrations can't be deleted at all.

Sales platform integrations add options for product mapping, customer mapping, and forcing Breww to download orders it may have missed. Marketing platform integrations add customer list management.

Third-party apps

Some categories also show a Third-party apps section. These are built by other companies using Breww's public API rather than by Breww itself, and each links to its own help guide. You set these up with the provider, not from this page.
